The industry average three year cost of ownership for the implementation and maintenance of a tape-based backup system (including licensing, tapes, labor, and service calls) is $16,750. With ENS Group’s Backup Assurance program, we provide the on-site disk backup device and the support for implementation and maintenance. Using Internet technology your data will be stored in three geographically dispersed locations. An initial copy is stored on the backup device; this data is then transmitted via secure Internet connection to an out-of-state data center. The copy residing in this data center is then replicated to another data center across the country. Storing a local copy allows for the rapid redeployment of data to a failed piece of hardware. The off-site component of this program protects you from a local disaster situation.
